Chico and the Gypsies have announced they are to tour the UK in October, in support of their latest album, 'Fiesta'.
Legends in their native France, the band will follow last year's sold-out show at London’s Theatre Royal Drury Lane with a seven-date tour, kicking off on October 16 at Manchester's Bridgewater Hall. Further stops include Scunthorpe's Baths Hall, Cambridge's Corn Exchange, Birmingham Town Hall, Guildford's G Live, Salisbury's City Hall and the O2 Shepherd's Bush Empire in London.
Speaking ahead of the tour, Chico Bouchikhi, frontman and co-founder of The Gipsy Kings, had this to say:
“I was so happy to be back in London after being away for twenty five years. The audience were just wonderful; it was a real Fiesta night.
“After the amazing reaction and support, we are all looking forward to touring the UK. It will be exciting for all of us visiting different parts of the UK and playing our Fiesta Gypsy Music for all to enjoy.”
Tickets for the tour are on sale at 9am on April 24.
