Vennart has shared his new single, Operate, ahead of his UK tour.
The track is taken from his debut LP, 'The Demon Joke', which is due for release June 22. Discussing the track, which premiered on Stereogum, the ex-Oceansize frontman said:
“Operate was the song that opened a lot of doors, creatively, on this record. It’s pretty much the best chorus I’ve ever written. It’s the kind of heavy pop song I’ve been threatening to write for years. It’s simple, but it’s still got a few weird tricks up its sleeve.”
Vennart will play a handful of UK shows starting tomorrow, May 9. He will call at Brighton, London, Cardiff, Milton Keynes and Manchester. Tickets are on sale now. Prices start at £10.00, plus fees.
