Vennart is the moniker of English singer-songwriter and musician Mike Vennart. Former frontman of iconic rockers Oceansize, one of the UK's favourite 21st century rock bands, he is now working as a solo artist and frequently plays with Biffy Clyro as a touring guitarist.
Vennart signed with Superball Music for his debut LP, 'The Demon Joke', which went hit shelves in June 2015. In June 2018, he announced its follow-up, 'To Cure A Blizzard Upon A Plastic Sea', which is due for release on September 14 through his own label, Medium Format.
He'll support the new album with a full UK tour in November, after a show at ArcTanGent festival and surround headline shows in August. Catch him live by checking out the tour dates and concert ticket information below on Stereoboard.

One of the abiding clichés in contemporary music is the the ageing ‘dinosaur’. You can picture them now: the middle-aged vocalist of a progressive rock band who takes a decidedly more mainstream pop route for their solo career. Phil Collins is the most obvious example, but Rush’s Geddy Lee and Yes’ Jon Anderson have also occupied shallower waters when going it alone.
