Flyte Return With New Single Closer Together

Tuesday, 09 June 2015 Written by Laura Johnson

Flyte have returned with their new single Closer Together.

Having spent the last six months working on their new album, the London four-piece will release their new track on July 31 via Island Records. Discussing the song, which you can listen to below, singer/guitarist Will Taylor said:

"If you work on something for longer than necessary it can become overcomplicated and convoluted. If you spend too much time in someone else's company you begin to resent them. This song came from living in tiny London flats crammed in with too many other people. From feeling claustrophobic and overly obsessive. Closer Together is a request to reconnect with someone by seeing them less."

Flyte will be hitting the festival circuit hard this summer, calling at BURYFields Festival in June, followed by Nibley Festival, Camden Lock Festival, Lubstock Festival, Curious Arts Festival, Secret Garden Party and Kendal Calling, all in July. The last stop will be Portsmouth's Victorious Festival on August 29.
