Duran Duran will release their new album, 'Paper Gods', in September.
The legendary synth-pop group's fourteenth album is due September 11 on Warner Bros. When recording the LP the group worked with producers Nile Rodgers, Mark Ronson, Josh Blair and Mr Hudson. The record also boasts guest appearances from Janelle Monáe, former Red Hot Chili Peppers guitarist John Frusciante, Canadian singer Kiesza, British singer/songwriter Mr Hudson, violinist Davidé Rossi and actress Lindsay Lohan. Discussing 'Paper Gods', singer Simon Le Bon said:
“We’ve allowed ourselves the time to make music that we can be proud of. I judge what we release by my favourite albums — 'Horses', 'Harvest', 'Let It Bleed', 'Blue', 'Transformer', 'Aladdin Sane'. Those are classic albums. The only rule is it’s got to be music you can live with for the rest of your life.”
Duran Duran have announced details of a new UK arena tour this winter. The group will call in Manchester, Leeds, Cardiff, Brighton, Birmingham, Newcastle, Glasgow, London, Bournemouth, Nottingham and Liverpool between November 27 and December 12, marking their first tour since 2011's All You Need is Now Tour.
