Rudimetal Share New Track Love Ain't Just A Word Featuring Dizzee Rascal

Friday, 17 July 2015 Written by Laura Johnson

Rudimental have shared their new track, Love Ain't Just A Word, featuring Dizzee Rascal and Anne-Marie.

The song is the third to be lifted from their forthcoming album, 'We The Generation', which is due September 18 through Major Toms and Asylum Records. As well as Dizzee Rascal and Anne-Marie, the new record boasts guests appearances by Lianne La Havas, Will Heard, Ella Eyre and Bobby Womack.

Discussing the collaboration with Dizzee Rascal, which you can listen to below, the band said:

“We grew up with Dizzee; we all used to hang out as kids together in East London. We were working on a track and thought he’d be perfect on it, so invited him over to our studio, Major Toms. He came over one night, liked what he heard, so wrote and recorded his verse there and then! So glad that we finally got to work together.”

Rudimental will play Lovebox today. They will also appear at Boardmasters and Belsonic in August, among a series of other festivals scheduled for this summer.

Rudimental Upcoming Tour Dates are as follows:

Sat August 15 2015 - BELFAST Custom House Square
Sat August 29 2015 - BIRMINGHAM Cofton Park
