Cyndi Lauper To Release Country Album 'Detour' In May

Cyndi Lauper will release 'Detour', a country album, in May.
The singer's 11th studio album is set to arrive on May 6 on Sire Records and boasts guest appearances by Emmylou Harris, Alison Krauss and Willie Nelson, among others. Lauper said:
“When I was a really young kid, country music was pop music, so this is what we grew up listening to. These songs are part of some of my earliest memories so it has been an absolute thrill to revisit them.”
