Down have cancelled their summer European festival plans, including a set at Download.
The decision comes in the wake of Phil Anselmo’s use of a Nazi salute and shout of “white power” at Dimefest back in January.
The band were dropped from the bill by Dutch festival FortaRock last month, with Anselmo offering a number of apologies for his actions.
Download confirmed Down’s cancellation with a short Twitter message.
