The National To Release Grateful Dead Tribute Album Featuring Mumford And Sons, Courtney Barnett

Aaron and Bryce Dessner of the National will release a Grateful Dead tribute album, 'Day Of The Dead', featuring Mumford and Sons, Courtney Barnett and Wilco, among many others, on May 20 through 4AD.

The record, which was curated by the Dessner brothers over several years, will include 59 tracks and appearances from the likes of the War On Drugs, Kurt Vile, Flaming Lips, Jenny Lewis, Fucked Up, Sharon Van Etten, Perfume Genius, This Is The Kit, the Walkmen, plus more. 

The band have announced that "all profits will help fight for AIDS/HIV and related health issues around the world through The Red Hot Organization." Head here for more information.
