Buzzcocks, Wretch 32, WSTRN Among New Additions To Liverpool International Music Festival

Buzzcocks, Wretch 32 and WSTRN are among the latest acts to join the line up for the Liverpool International Music Festival.
Also joining the bill are Clean Cut Kid, Craig Charles, Stealing Sheep, the Vryll Society, BBC Radio 1's Adele Roberts, Greg Wilson, Ady Suleiman, Omar Lye-Fook, Incognito, Dennis Ferrer, Yousef, Kiko Bun, Christopher Ellis, MiC Lowry, the 20 acts that make up the LIMF Academy Class of 2016 and the LIMFxLaces Out! stage featuring a selection of hip hop DJs.
Discussing the festival, LIMF Music Curator, Yaw Owusu, said:
"I believe every year we continue to improve on our artistic ambition and articulation. 2016's programme showcases this better than ever. We are celebrating the fact that our city loves music - whether it's diverse, cultural, new or well-known. With a programme full of outdoor concerts, club nights, intimate showcases and exclusive after shows, we are authentically spanning the true breadth of musical genres and cultures. This is our USP and what makes LIMF inherently different from any other festival - reflecting this city's true and ever-changing musical DNA. At LIMF 2016, we very much plan to provide Liverpool residents and the festival's growing national and international visitors, an experience they will never forget."
The free music event will return to Liverpool for its fourth year this summer, between July 21 and 24, with Sigma, the Wombats, Lianne La Havas, Kwabs, Netsky, Ms. Dynamite, Maverick Sabre, Frances, DJ Target, John Power Band and the Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra, among many others, also set to appear.
