Miracle Legion Reunite For August UK Shows

Thursday, 02 June 2016 Written by Jon Stickler

Miracle Legion have reunited for a handful of UK shows this summer, celebrating the 20th anniversary of their 'Portrait Of A Damaged Family' album.

Having parted ways in 1996 following the release of the album, two decades later the Connecticut band, singer-songwriter Mark Mulcahy, lead guitarist Ray Neal, bassist Dave McCaffrey and drummer Scott Boutier, have announced shows at the Hope And Ruin in Brighton, Oran Mor in Glasgow, the Deaf Insitute in Manchester and Oslo in Hackney, London.

The run also includes an appearance at Green Man festival in Brecon, on August 19. Speaking about the reunion, Mulcahy explains:

"Getting back with Miracle Legion was something I never thought about. We always lived by 'never say never,' and so this is some perversion of that shitty motto. Even when we were together, there were many, many times I hated it so much I couldn't think it would last another day."

Tickets are on sale now, priced from £15.00/£17.50 plus fees.

Miracle Legion Upcoming Tour Dates are as follows:

Tue August 16 2016 - BRIGHTON Hope and Ruin
Wed August 17 2016 - GLASGOW Oran Mor
Thu August 18 2016 - MANCHESTER Deaf Institute
Sat August 20 2016 - LONDON London Oslo
