Haley Bonar has shared a video for her new single, Kismet Kill.
The song features on the Minnesota-based singer's new album, 'Impossible Dream', which is set to arrive through Memphis Industries on August 5 and follow up 2014's 'Last War'. Discussing the video, director Nicole Brending said:
"What captured me thematically about Kismet Kill is the tension between growing up too fast while also never growing up at all. Haley's voice has a dreamlike quality, so when I was listening to the song, the story of this woman started to materialize in my head, in surreal, Alice-In-Wonderland-type imagery as she chases a memory and her life gets in the way. Haley and I are both David Lynch and John Waters fans, and she gave me permission to"get a little weird," so I tried to honor that sensibility with a tone that's both humorous and dark and imagery that's visually distinct."
Following the arrival of the album, Bonar and her band will hit the road in October for a headline UK tour, during which she will also support Field Music in Gateshead on October 22 and Manchester on October 29.
