Taking Back Sunday will release a new album this autumn.
'Tidal Wave', the follow up to 2014's 'Happiness Is', is due to arrive on September 16 via Hopeless Records and will be the seventh LP released by the Long Island five piece.
Discussing the record with Entertainment Weekly, frontman Adam Lazzarra said:
”Tidal Wave is a bit of a departure but I don’t think its coming out of left field. We realise anything we do is going to sound like Taking Back Sunday.
With our first records, we’re writing from the perspective of 17, 18-year-old kids and now it’s like as you grow older the blinders get pulled back and you have a different way of looking at the world around you.”
The singer also revealed plans for some upcoming shows:
“Our idea is to go to the smallest clubs we can go to. We’d like to debut this record as honestly as we can and what better way to do that in a small club?”
