Frank Ocean has released his long-awaited new album.
Almost immediately after the arrival of ‘Endless’, his new visual album, ‘Blond’ (or 'Blonde' according to Apple Music) has been unveiled alongside a magazine called Boy’s Don’t Cry, which for a long time was speculated to be the name of the LP.
Writing on Tumblr, Ocean said: “I had the time of my life making all of this. Thank you all. Especially those of you who never let me forget I had to finish. Which is basically every one of Ya’ll. Haha. Love you.” For a more in-depth discussion of the record, meanwhile, head here.
According to the magazine (via Pitchfork), the album’s list of contributors includes, among others, David Bowie, Kanye West, Jamie xx, Kendrick Lamar, Beyoncé, the Beatles, André 3000, Brian Eno, Pharrell and Elliott Smith.
