The Rolling Stones Cancel Las Vegas Show Due To Mick Jagger Falling Ill

The Rolling Stones have been forced to cancel tonight's show in Las Vegas due to lead singer Mick Jagger falling ill.

The frontman has been diagnosed with laryngitis and told to rest his voice. Check out the full statement from the band's website below.

We regret to inform you that the Rolling Stones’ concert scheduled for Wednesday, October 19 at T-Mobile Arena has been cancelled. Lead vocalist Mick Jagger has come down with laryngitis and has been advised by doctors to rest his voice.

We hope to have information about the possibility of rescheduling this date very soon. We encourage ticket holders to wait for that information before seeking refunds. We also hope to have further information about the status of the concert scheduled for Saturday, October 22.

The Rolling Stones, T-Mobile Arena, MGM Resorts International, Concerts West and AEG Live apologise for any inconvenience this causes ticket holders.

The veteran rockers recently announced details of 'Blue & Lonesome', their first album in over a decade. The follow up to 2005's 'A Bigger Bang' is due to arrive on December 2 through Polydor. Recorded in three days in London, the album features covers of songs by Jimmy Reed, Willie Dixon, Eddie Taylor, Little Walter and Howlin’ Wolf. It also sees the Stones joined on two tracks by Eric Clapton.
