Sigur Rós will embark on a North American tour next spring.
The Icelandic band will tour as a trio made up of the current core members, Jónsi Birgisson, Georg Hólm and Orri Páll Dýrason, with shows planned in April, May and June. Tickets are on general sale at 10am on December 16.
Each show will feature two career-spanning sets, no opening act and, with the exception of three previously confirmed dates in Los Angeles, where they’ll be accompanied by the LA Philharmonic, the band will perform without strings, brass, and other musicians.
