Russell Watson Announces May UK Shows

Thursday, 15 December 2016 Written by Jon Stickler

Russell Watson has lined up a string of shows for next spring.

The classical vocalist will perform at Birmingham's Symphony Hall, Blackpool's Opera House, Glasgow's Clyde Auditorium, Bournemouth's BIC and the London Palladium between May 3 and 13. Speaking about the short tour, Watson said:

"I am really excited about my forthcoming tour as this is the first time I will be appearing live with an orchestra for a long time. It is also the first time I will be performing songs from my new album 'True Stories', an album I am extremely proud of. The London Palladium show will be particularly special for me as, even though I have appeared there before, it will be the first time I have headlined such an extraordinarily wonderful and evocative venue."

Watson, who released 'True Stories' in November, also plays a previously confirmed show at Manchester's Bridgewater Hall on February 18. Special guest will be Alice Fearn.

Tickets for the new tour are on sale at 10am on December 16, priced £45.00 plus fees.
