Madness To Headline Friday Of Portsmouth's Victorious Festival

Monday, 19 December 2016 Written by Laura Johnson

Madness will headline the Friday night opening party of next year's Victorious Festival.

The ska-pop outfit, who released their new album, 'Can't Touch Us Now', in October, will top the bill at Southsea Seafront on August 25, with support from Craig Charles' Funk & Soul Club. Tickets are on sale now, priced from £20.00 plus fees.

Festival director Andy Marsh said:

“Heading into our sixth year we wanted to shake things up a bit and what better way than to open proceedings with a massive party. We wracked our brains for the best party band out there and the answer was literally a no-brainer, it had to be Madness.

We’re delighted that the guys have agreed to headline our new Friday night slot, its going to be incredible, and when Craig Charles opens his trunk of funk there’s no doubt it’ll be a night to remember!”

Tickets for the Saturday and Sunday of the festival are also on sale, priced at £32.00 plus fees. Head here for more details.
