Chicago And The Doobie Brothers Set Up Joint North American Summer Tour

Chicago and the Doobie Brothers have announced plans to tour North America together this summer.
The two classic rock bands will team up for 31 co-headline shows across the United States and Canada between June 7 and 30. Speaking about the dates, Chicago's trumpeter Lee Loughnane said:
"We have played with The Doobie Brothers a couple of times previous to this. We are especially excited to get to tour with them this summer."
The Doobie Brothers' Tom Johnston added:
"Chicago has great music that I was into before we got anywhere, and touring with them is a pleasure. We grasp the same crowd, really good crowds, and even though we don't play the same kind of music in a sense, we always have a great time."
Both bands have other tours planned earlier this year, while tickets for the new dates are on general sale at 10am on January 9.
