Hot Chip's Joe Goddard Announces Debut Solo Album 'Electric Lines', Shares Music Is The Answer Video

Hot Chip's Joe Goddard has announced his debut solo album.
'Electric Lines' is due for release on April 21. Introducing it on Facebook, he said:
"So I’m releasing an album on April 21. It’s called Electric Lines because I wanted it to show the paths through electronic music that my listening has taken over the years.
I tried really hard to make it as strong and beautiful as I could, and I tried to follow my intuition and instincts, rather than overthinking and ironing out the soul. I'm excited for you to hear it. xx"

Goddard will play an album launch show at Heaven in London on May 4. Tickets are on sale now, priced at £14.50 plus fees.
