Sam Coomes of Quasi has lined up a string of UK solo dates.
Best known as half of the underground pop duo, the other half being Janet Weiss, known as the drummer for Sleater-Kinney, Coomes will call in Bristol, Salford, Edinburgh, Coventry, London, where he'll play a special Domino Presents show at The Windmill with Fish and The Sweat, Brighton and back to London, wrapping up at Hackney's Oslo on March 15 before dates with Black Heart Procession in Europe.
Coomes released his first ever solo album, 'Bugger Me', last year. Additionally, this week, Quasi released a compilation; a protest record entitled 'Battle Hymns', featuring the likes of Carrie Brownstein, Stephen Malkmus and Kathy Foster (the Thermals) with all proceeds going to Planned Parenthood, The ACLU and 350.org.
