Jamie Lenman Announces Big Scary Monsters Signing And Releases New Single Waterloo Teeth

Jamie Lenman has released a new single.
Waterloo Teeth, which was premiered by Daniel P Carter on his Radio 1 Rock show, follows up Mississippi, which arrived in January and marked the former Reuben frontman's first new offering since his debut solo album, 'Muscle Memory', came out in 2013.
Alongside the new single Lenman has also announced that he's signed to Big Scary Monsters. About it, label boss Kevin Douch said:
"I've been a fan of Jamie's for such a long time and it's a real honour to be working together now. From the very first moment I first heard Let's Stop Hanging Out by Reuben I don't think a day has passed without it looping through my brain and is now proudly joined by Mississippi, a testament to the man's incredible songwriting. We're as excited and intrigued as the rest of you as to what musical gems await."
About the new song, which you can listen to below, Lenman said:
"I initially just wrote some nonsense lyrics to sing over the demo but when I listened back I realised they actually made a lot of sense about how I was feeling at the time - lots of subconscious imagery about grit and engines and trying to organise things...a song about stress! I'm really happy with the sound we got on this one, the glass breaking, the clanging pipes, the heavy chains. I can't wait to play it at the shows."
Lenman will hit the road later this month for a UK tour. Frauds and Super Goliath will precede him in Birmingham and Cardiff, God Damn and Super Goliath in Bristol, HCBP and Super Goliath in Manchester, and HCBP and Frauds in London, Milton Keynes, Leeds and Glasgow. He will also appear at 2000trees and Truck Festival this summer.
