Lionize will return to the UK this summer for a series of headline shows and festival sets.
The Maryland band have confirmed shows in Milton Keynes, Birmingham, Manchester, Glasgow, Newcastle, Leeds, Oxford and London, where they'll play the Black Heart, alongside their appearances at Ramblin' Man Fair on July 29 and Bloodstock on August 11. Frontman Nate Bergman said:
"Coming back to the UK after our December 2016 tour with Clutch is such an exciting feeling! On that run, we tried out some new songs we'd been working on and the response and energy was something like we’ve never felt live. To be able to come back again is really a privilege! All of our favourite bands through rock and roll's history were either from the UK or got a following there before the USA caught on. To top it all off, we're playing Bloodstock and Ramblin' Man Fair! How many bands can say they did both of those?! Can’t wait to show you what we have this summer."
The band have been busy working on the follow up to 2014's 'Jetpack Soundtrack'. Recorded in Maryland, production has been handled by Clutch's Jean Paul Gaster with J. Robbins and Lionize.
Tickets are on sale at 10am on May 5, priced from £10.00 plus fees.
