Twenty two people have been killed and 59 injured in a terror attack at Ariana Grande's Manchester Arena show last night.
The incident occurred shortly after the singer left the stage, at around 10.30pm, and Greater Manchester Police have said they believe a lone male attacker, who died in the blast, detonated an improvised explosive device.
A full statement from Chief Constable Ian Hopkins has been issued and a hotline set up for those concerned about loved ones: 01618569400 and 01618569900.
The singer and her manager, Scooter Braun, both responded to the event on social media, though it has not yet been confirmed if Grande will continue with the rest of her tour.
broken.
from the bottom of my heart, i am so so sorry. i don't have words.
A statement has also been posted on the venue's website:
"Last night, our community suffered a senseless tragedy. Our entire team's thoughts and focus are now on supporting the people affected and their families. We are assisting the police in any way we can. We cannot praise the emergency services enough for their response and have been inspired by the way the people of this great city of Manchester rallied round last night and have continued to respond today. It shows the very best of this city. Again, our thoughts and deepest condolences are with all those affected by last night's tragedy."
