In Hearts Wake Reveal New Track Waterborne

Tuesday, 23 May 2017 Written by Jon Stickler

In Hearts Wake have released Waterborne, the third new track from their forthcoming album 'Ark'.

The new track lends its name to We Are Waterborne: An In Hearts Wake Initiative that sees the Byron Bay band partnering with Tangaroa Blue to lead a series of clean-ups along some of the most polluted waterways on the east coast of Australia. A similar project based in the UK and Europe will be announced in due course. Speaking about the initiative, vocalist Jake Taylor said:

"We are overwhelmed by the amount of people who have already signed up to help us clean some of Australia's most polluted waterways. If this goes well, we'd like to take it around the world. As a thank you to everyone ahead of our album coming out on Friday, here's an early gift called Waterborne which is the track that inspired the initiative. We have given water a voice and the lyrics are written from its perspective."

The follow up to 2015's 'Skydancer' arrives on May 26 via UNFD.
