Wildwood Kin Announce Autumn UK Tour And Debut Album 'Turning Tides'

Thursday, 15 June 2017 Written by Laura Johnson

Wildwood Kin have announced their debut album and an autumn UK tour.

The Americana trio, made up of sisters Beth and Emillie Key and their cousin Meghann Loney, will follow up the release of 'Turning Tides' on August 18 with shows in Portsmouth, Bristol, Liverpool, Manchester, Glasgow, Leeds, Birmingham, Cardiff, Bath, London, Brighton, Nottingham, Norwich, Truro and Taunton between October 4 and November 18. Tickets go on sale on June 21.

Speaking about the record, Emillie said:

"Making the album was a huge learning process. We had no idea what we were capable of and we constantly surprised ourselves. We went in to the studio not knowing where the boundaries were and discovered that, of course, there aren't any. That's what we found most exciting."

Tonight Wildwood Kin will play the first of three London shows they have lined up at the Islington this summer. The band will also appear at a number of festivals in the coming months, including Glastonbury, Boardmasters and Radio 2 Live in Hyde Park.
