The first details have been confirmed for the return of Sŵn Festival in a new format for 2017.

The event will now also encompass a month long series of shows staged across Wales this autumn and incorporate the Welsh Music Prize, with things getting underway when the Skints play Swansea’s Sin City on September 22.

A string of Cardiff dates will then follow, with Songhoy Blues and the Amazons playing the Tramshed, This is the Kit taking over the Globe and Clean Cut Kid, Jen Cloher and Aquilo pitching up at Clwb Ifor Bach.

Head here for more and keep your eyes peeled for further Sŵn updates.
