Laura Mvula, Hozier, Tom Odell And More Join Give A Home Concert Series

Laura Mvula, Tom Odell and Hozier are among 90 new acts confirmed to perform intimate concerts around the world on September 20 for the global refugee concert series Give a Home for Human Rights.

Organised by Amnesty International and Sofar Sounds, the new acts will join the likes of Ed Sheeran, Kate Tempest, Ghetts and the National in the event, which will see 1,000 musicians playing in 300 shows in people’s homes in more than 200 cities worldwide.

Sheeran will perform in Washington D.C., while Fossils will play in Calcutta, Freshly Ground in Cape Town, and Daughter and Kate Tempest are among those performing in London. The artists announced today for UK and Ireland shows also include Archive, Blaenavon, Get Cape. Wear Cape. Fly, Hozier, Imelda May, Jon Hopkins and Leo Abrahams, Marika Hackman, Nick Mulvey, Sivu, the Hoosiers, To Kill A King and We Were Promised Jetpacks. 

The full list of gigs is available on sofarsounds.com/giveahome, where people have until September 10 to apply for tickets for the shows taking place in their city.
