Ultimate Painting's Jack Cooper Posts New Solo Single A Net

Jack Cooper of Ultimate Painting has posted a new single.

A Net is taken from his debut solo album, 'Sandgrown', which is due out on August 25 through Trouble in Mind Records. Speaking about the song, he said:

"Most of the time you write songs so you don't have to explain something or because you can't and A Net is one of them. The thing I really wanted to do was make something that sounded like how it felt in the fields and woods near my house... to make something that sounded uneasy."

Cooper will follow up the record's release with a headline UK tour next month, including a BBC 6 Music Session on September 11.
