Robyn Hitchcock Announces May Dates In Manchester And London

Robyn Hitchcock will be accompanied by his LA Squires backing band for shows in Manchester and London next spring.
Hitchcock and band will play the Academy on May 11 followed by a date at ULU the next day, his first UK shows with a full band since 2014. Hitchcock said:
"London and Manchester! 40 glorious years of my song from Cambridge to Nashville rocked your way by me and my band, the LA Squires. These are my first electric shows in Britain for five years and will be followed by a string of solo dates to be announced soon; the first since 2015. Be there or beware!"
The singer-songwriter released his self-titled latest album in April through Yep Roc Records, following up 2014's 'The Man Upstairs'.
