Fangclub Announced As Support On The Cribs UK Tour

Friday, 15 December 2017 Written by Jon Stickler

Fangclub have been announced as main support to the Cribs on their forthcoming UK tour in early 2018.

The Dublin band will link up with the Wakefield trio at shows in Brighton, Oxford, Cardiff, Keele, Preston, Sheffield, Edinburgh, Dundee, Middlesbrough and Hull during January. This, however, means that they have to postpone their own headline shows. Fangclub said:

"We have to let you know that all our UK headline dates will be postponed until later in 2018. This is because The Cribs have asked us to support them on their UK tour. If you've met us before then you know how much we love The Cribs and how big this is for us personally and as a band! This decision wasn't easy to make and we are really sorry for any inconvenience to you guys. Refunds are available from point of purchase. We'll be rescheduling the headline shows, which will be announced very soon."

Fangclub recently put out their self-titled debut album via Vertigo Records, while the Cribs hit the road in support of '24-7 Rock Star Shit', following their current 'Cribsmas' shows.

Twenty One Pilots - Trench (Album Review)
Mon 08 Oct 2018
In 2015, Twenty One Pilots got their big break. The Ohioans’ fourth album, ‘Blurryface’, summited the US chart and sent two singles into similarly rarefied air. The following year another song, Heathens, ushered in the soundtrack to the hit film, Suicide Squad. The resulting period has seen the band ascend to arena-filling stardom and paved the way for ‘Trench’, a record that combines their distinctive blend of elaborate production with re-upped nu-metal.

Paul Weller - True Meanings (Album Review)
Mon 24 Sep 2018
Paul Weller is consistently operating at a level that most other musical grandees struggle to reach. His 14th solo record arrives hot on the heels of 2017’s ‘A Kind Revolution’, an innovative rock album that reminded us that the modfather still possesses political punch and a high degree of intellectual dynamism. ‘True Meanings’ is far softer and comprises pastoral ballads led mostly by acoustic guitar.
