Mariah Carey has rescheduled her February Australia and New Zealand shows to October.
The dates, in Auckland, Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane, have been pushed back due to the "necessary realignment of her international engagements", with the previously planned Perth stops now cancelled. Carey confirmed the news with a statement:
"We are now planning a much bigger tour in 2018. Because of this we are moving the Australia and New Zealand dates a few months to October. I’ll be kicking off my tour with you then and look forward to seeing you all! Until then, sending love and best wishes for a wonderful new year!"
Tickets for the new shows will be issued to ticket holders in the coming weeks, while tickets to the Brisbane show will remain valid for the new date. Ticket holders who cannot attend the new shows will be refunded via their point of purchase. New tickets for the rescheduled shows will go on sale at 2pm on February 1.
