Ultimate Painting have announced their split.
The band's Jack Cooper took to their social media accounts last night to break the news and confirm that their new record, and Bella Union debut, 'Up!', had been scrapped. The statement cites "an irreconcilable breakdown", with the band's forthcoming tour dates also cancelled.
Ultimate Painting, which consisted of Cooper alongside James Hoare, formed in 2014 and released their self-titled debut the same year, following it up in 2015 with 'Green Lanes'. In 2016 they released their third studio album, ‘Dusk’, and their 'Live At Third Man Records' LP.
