Gomez Announce 20th Anniversary Edition Of 'Bring It On' Featuring 35 Previously Unreleased Tracks

To celebrate its 20th anniversary, Gomez have announced a deluxe reissue of their Mercury Prize-winning debut album, 'Bring It On'.

The new edition, which is due out on April 21, will include 35 previously unreleased tracks, including demos, BBC sessions and their 1998 Glastonbury set.

They will also play the record in its entirety on their spring UK and Ireland tour, which will call in Brighton, Nottingham, Dublin, Glasgow, Leeds, Manchester, Bristol, London, Cambridge, Liverpool and Glasgow between April 24 and May 8. Tickets are on sale now.

I absent-mindedly scroll Twitter in a glass shelter as the December cold gets its claws in. Before skipping over a review of the latest Jungle Book remake I’m stopped mid-feed by an autoplay video. Julia Roberts dances in a subway carriage for the New York Times. She grins, the plastic chairs smile back with yellow and orange teeth. The sound is off—my headphones are still playing Hop Along’s Not Abel. The weird thing is, that song won’t yield the floor. Instead it steps in to lead.
