Supergrass Drummer Danny Goffey Announces New Solo LP 'Schtick!' And Festival Goffstonbury

Supergrass drummer Danny Goffey has announced a new solo album.
'Schtick!' is due for release on June 22 through Distiller Records, while pre-orders will ensure entry into a draw for an invite to his own festival, Goffstonbury, which will take place at his Somerset home on the day following the record's arrival.
Discussing the event, he said:
"Madness galore… including music, emotional dance, hedonistic treats and a Les Dawson impersonator. It’s gonna be bonkers.”
About the record, he continued:
“The last album was more about my domestic life. On this album, I got to grips with bigger topics like unprovoked violence and how religion is so strange... I do think it stands out in today’s music.”
The follow up to his 2015's ‘Take Your Jacket Off & Get Into It’ was co-produced by Simon Byrt and features appearances by Suede’s Brett Anderson, Rialto’s Louis Eliot and Insecure Men’s Marley Mackey.
