System Of A Down's Daron Malakian Releases New Scars On Broadway Track Lives

Daron Malakian has released a new track under his Scars on Broadway moniker.
Lives is the first song to be taken from the System of a Down guitarist's new album, 'Dictator', which is due out on July 20.
The track's arrival coincides with the 103rd anniversary of the Armenian Genocide and Malakian will donate a portion of the song’s proceeds to the Armenia Fund.
Speaking about the song's video, he said:
“The traditional Armenian folk dances and colorful costumes that you see in the video are an homage to Armenia’s rich history and culture. The song and the imagery in the video are meant to inspire pride among—and empower—the survivors of a historical tragedy.”
