Michael Nau & The Mighty Thread Announce Album And Autumn UK Shows

Michael Nau and the Mighty Thread will release an album this summer.
The eponymous LP will arrive on August 3 via Full Time Hobby and marks the first time Nau has put out a record with a full band. It follows up his 2017 solo LP, 'Some Twist'.
Head below to listen to Less Than Positive, the first track to be shared from the album. Discussing it, Nau said:
"This song's been around and part of the live thing for a long time. I'm not sure how or why it came back around during this session, but it was recorded on the final day. The apartment where we recorded this album has a big spiral staircase in the entrance of the building - we set up drums in there for this one, and hung a mic from the ceiling. Other than harmonies, nothing was overdubbed."
Nau and band will play shows in Bristol, Manchester and London during September as part of their wider European tour. Tickets go on sale at 10am on May 4.
