‘Encores 1’ pulls together five tracks composed during work on ‘All Melody’, which was released at the turn of the year. It’s the first in a series intended to work as an accompaniment to that record.
“The idea behind 'Encores' is one we had from before ‘All Melody’ to do three releases each with their own distinct musical style and theme, perhaps even as a triple album," he said. "But 'All Melody' became larger than itself and took over any initial concepts.”
