10 Years Announce September UK Tour

Monday, 18 June 2018 Written by Jon Stickler

10 Years will tour the UK in September.

The Tennessee rockers have lined up stops in London, Sheffield, Scunthorpe, Manchester, Milton Keynes and Glasgow, returning for the first time since their appearance at Download Festival in 2006. Tickets are on sale now.

The band released '(how to live) As Ghosts' in October last year through Mascot Records. Guitarist Matt Wantland said:

"I'm genuinely excited to get back to Europe; we haven't been able to make the journey since around 2008. So much of my favorite music and culture was born, and lives, in that part of the world. I want to share in that energy, and I want them to share it back with us. Travel and new experiences are what help you grow as a human being, as a person, and as a band I don't think there's a better opportunity than this to grow personally and professionally and to push us to a new level. We've always felt Europe is a place we should be spending more of our time."

Photo: Harmony Korine Iggy Pop is one of America’s greatest living rock artists—a stage performer whose visceral public persona is immediate and undeniable. However, that doesn’t always translate into recognisable hits...or even high quality music. Like his late contemporary Lou Reed, sometimes his songs seem deliberately shoddy so as to disappoint and frustrate his audience.
