Boston Manor Unveil Film Noir Video For New Track Bad Machine

Put the brightness up on your screen because Boston Manor have shared a film noir video for their new single.
Bad Machine is the latest track from the rock band’s second album, ‘Welcome To The Neighbourhood’, which gets a full release on September 7, and deals with disenfranchisement in a fictionalised version of their hometown of Blackpool.
The band's vocalist Henry Cox, who directed and edited the video, said:
“When we composed the song we already had accompanying visuals in mind for it and when recording the album we had films playing in the background that we thought would match up with the sounds we were making. We knew we wanted to capture some of the sleaziness of the track & condense the video down to a sequence of ‘moments’, almost like a movie trailer. The song has such massive differences in dynamics between the verses & choruses so it was important that we captured that in the video.”
Despite being bleak and moody, Bad Machine has a huge sing-a-long chorus, perfect for fans at their upcoming string of headline shows. Alongside the tour, Boston Manor will support the record at intimate launch shows in Sheffield’s Church on September 7 and Kingston’s Banquet Records on September 12.
