Seasick Steve Unveils Title Track Of New Album 'Can U Cook?'

Wednesday, 15 August 2018 Written by Laura Johnson

Seasick Steve has shared the title track of his new album.

'Can U Cook?' is due for release on September 28, with UK shows set to follow in Cambridge, Oxford, Southampton, Brighton, Exeter, Leicester, Cardiff, Liverpool and Glasgow during November.

The song was recorded using a one string washboard guitar with a banjo neck and as a result has Steve's typical lo-fi take on rock 'n' roll with a country twist. Head below to check it out, along with the previously shared track Shady Tree.

John Grant - Love Is Magic (Album Review)
Thu 18 Oct 2018
Since getting sober, John Grant has spent the best part of a decade developing a superb catalogue of camp, alternative electronica. The former Czars frontman’s fourth solo album, ‘Love is Magic’, is a punchy, ‘80s-infused grooveathon that presents highly characterful lyrics, retro flavours, tight arrangements and synthetic melodic motifs.
