The Dirty Nil have shared a new track.
I Don't Want That Phone Call is the latest to be cut from their forthcoming LP, ‘Master Volume’, which is due to arrive on September 14 via Dine Alone, with shows in Norwich and London set to follow later in the month.
The track is driven by huge punk-rock guitar riffs, a staple diet for the Canadian trio, while Luke Bentham's vocals are as full-blooded as always, leaving no reserves in the tank.
The song deals with the anxiety that comes from being in a friendship with someone who has a drug and alcohol problem. "Nobody's got a habit quite like you, and now I'm scared, I don't know what to do. Hey man, you got to slow down, 'cos I don't want that phone call," Bentham sings.
The Dirty Nil Upcoming Tour Dates are as follows
Tue September 25 2018 - NORWICH UEA Waterfront Studio
Wed September 26 2018 - BIRMINGHAM Flapper
Thu September 27 2018 - SOUTHAMPTON Joiners
Fri September 28 2018 - LONDON Boston Music Room, Tufnell Park
