The Breeders Share Richard Ayoade-Directed Video For Spacewoman

The Breeders have released a video for Spacewoman.
The track appears on 'All Nerve', their first album in a decade, which arrived in March. It ricochets back and forth between pared back segments and full blown noise, nailing both as only a band of their calibre and experience can without coming across as jarring.
The song's video was directed by Richard Ayoade and is a cinematic piece that couldn't be any further removed from their homemade puppet video for Nervous Mary, which came out in August. The band appear to be astronauts or explorers of some kind who have crashed, with Kim and Kelley Deal the only ones left in good enough shape to venture out into their surroundings. They do so brandishing their guitars, which they ultimately throw into a ring of fire on the horizon. As you do.
