The Breeders are an American alternative rock band, currently featuring Kim Deal, Kelley Deal, Josephine Wiggs and Jim Macpherson. Formed in 1989, the band released their debut album, ‘Pod’, in 1990, but it was their second release, ‘Last Splash’, in 1993, which saw them breakthrough, reaching #5 in the UK Albums Chart, before they went on hiatus in 1995.
Kim Deal reformed the band a year later but it wasn’t until 2002 that they released their third album, ‘Title TK’. The band released their latest album, ‘Mountain Battles’, in 2008. The band have headlined their own shows and tours across the USA and UK, including ‘The Last Splash’ 20th anniversary shows in 2013.
'All Nerve', their first record in a decade, is due to arrive on March 2, 2018 through 4AD. It will feature Wait In The Car, which they put out in October.
The band will support the album with a UK and Ireland tour, which will include a stop at the Roundhouse in London on May 30. This follows their North American tour in spring. Catch them live by checking out the tour dates and concert ticket information below on Stereoboard.

It takes a short while to get your head around the new album from the Breeders as it sounds like something very familiar. After multiple listens, it turns out that the answer is…the Breeders. ‘All Nerve’ sounds just like the Breeders.
