The Lemon Twigs have released a video for Never In My Arms, Always In My Heart.
Lifted from the duo’s recent LP ‘Go To School’, the single has been paired with a video that plays up the song’s theatrical narrative thrust in a mix of character study and dive bar musical. It’s the work of director Winston H. Case and the band’s own Michael D'Addario, who said:
"Brian and I played in a lot of Long Island bars growing up, and man, we met a lot of people like this. Sometimes the Long Island mothers would gossip and you'd hear a sad story like this one and somebody would end up with a tattoo that said 'Never In My Arms, Always In My Heart'. A weekend in Hicksville."
The Lemon Twigs will play February shows in Manchester, Glasgow, Newcastle, Leeds, Birmingham and London.
