Nile Rodgers And Annie Mac Announced As Camp Bestival Headliners

Thursday, 31 January 2019 Written by Helen Payne

Nile Rodgers and Annie Mac have been added to the Camp Bestival line up.

The funk legend, along with CHIC, will bring the party on the Saturday night, while Annie Mac will hit the decks to close the festival on Sunday. They join the already announced Friday headliners Jess Glynne and the Human League, as well as Sister Sledge, Sara Cox, Big Shaq, Vengaboys, and East 17, among others.

Curators Josie and Rob Da Bank said:

“We’re really proud to unveil two of the world’s biggest party starters in their own fields - Nile and Chic go back a long way with us and they’re gonna have everyone dancing at Lulworth Castle and Radio 1’s Annie Mac is one of the UK’s best DJs, tastemakers and a new(ish) mum to boot, so we know she’s gonna press all the right buttons. Josie and I really do strive to make Camp Bestival not only the best family festival out there, but also the ultimate way to kick off your summer hols. This year we’ve got some whacking great headliners and loads of amazing family activities - we’ve also got a real focus on new stuff for teens to keep ‘em happy and a push on screen-free parenting and avoiding technology in our new field The Wild Tribe. See you in the fields x”
