Jenny Hval has announced her next album, 'The Practice of Love'.

Led by first single Ashes To Ashes, the Norwegian artist will release the follow up to last year's 'The Long Sleep' EP and her 2016 full-length 'Blood Bitch' on September 13 through Sacred Bones.

Head below to view the record's artwork and tracklist, which features contributions from Vivian Wang, Laura Jean Englert, and Félicia Atkinson. The new song, meanwhile, finds Hval's vocals soaring over syncopated beats and building synths and electronics.

Hval explained that what the album conveys is, "the voice of someone who was once an angry teenager, furious at the hierarchies, many years later. No longer angry, but still feeling apart from the mainstream... longing for community. I wanted to give the feeling of being apart from the world a mystical, but beautiful place, meaning pop songs... A place that also contains enough depth to bury oneself in."

Hval wil support the release with live dates in Europe and the UK, including a show at Milton Court Concert Hall in London on September 29.

'The Practice of Love' tracklist:

1. Lions (feat. Vivian Wang)
2. High Alice
3. Accident (feat. Laura Jean)
4. The Practice of Love (feat. Laura Jean and Vivian Wang)
5. Ashes To Ashes
6. Thumbsucker (feat. Félicia Atkinson and Laura Jean)
7. Six Red Cannas (feat. Vivian Wang, Félicia Atkinson and Laura Jean)
