Monday, 16 September 2019 Written by Helen Payne

Machine Head have announced the second leg of a tour to celebrate the 25th anniversary of their 1994 debut album, 'Burn My Eyes'.

The new round of dates will conclude with UK shows at London’s Alexandra Palace and the O2 Academy Birmingham on June 5 and 6 respectively, after an extensive run throughout Europe. Tickets go on sale at 9am on September 20.

The shows will build on the thrash metal band’s Evening With… format, a three hour performance comprised of two parts. The first features a selection of Machine Head’s modern classics, while the latter half will see the band playing their first full-length in full, accompanied by original members Chris Kontos and Logan Mader.

Mader commented:

“Really looking forward to this tour and hitting all the markets we will miss on the first run. It’s gonna be amazing! I’ve never been to Greece or Russia and now I’ll have the chance to visit both!!”

Kontos added

“This is going to be amazing!!!  Playing lots of countries I have never played before and some of my favorite places too.  I'm very excited about going to Greece being GREEK!!! Playing Russia I'm sure will be quite the adventure. Looking forward to rocking this out!!!!”
