Kasabian have announced a huge Leicester show will be their only UK date of 2020.
The hometown performance will find the indie giants playing Victoria Park on June 20, with tickets for the show on general sale at 9am on October 25.
The gig will mark the band's first UK show since playing the O2 Academy Brixton in London last year. It's also their first performance in Leicester since a suprise set at the same venue in 2016, when the played to thousands celebrating Leicester City Football Club's Premiership title win. Guitarist Serge Pizzorno said:
"We're absolutely buzzing to be able to put on Solstice II in our home town of Leicester. Anyone who came last time would know how special it was and to get the opportunity to do it again is beyond a dream."
Kasabian, who are currently working on new music, will be joined by special guest Sam Fender for the summer show.
