Spanish Love Songs Set February Release For Third LP 'Brave Faces Everyone', Share New Track Kick

Monday, 06 January 2020 Written by Jon Stickler

Spanish Love Songs will return with their third LP next month.

With 'Brave Faces Everyone' out on February 7 via Pure Noise Records, the Los Angeles punk band have today shared the upbeat lead single Kick.

The inspiring song is the first to be shared from the 10-track record, which is steeped in the similar detail-rich storytelling of Bruce Springsteen, the Menzingers and Manchester Orchestra, with the quintet drawing from experiences during their tour behind previous record, 2018's 'Schmaltz'.

Head below to view the new full-length's cover art and tracklist. It was produced by guitarist Kyle McAulay at Howard Benson’s West Valley Recording. Lead vocalist and guitarist, Dylan Slocum said:

"This album is us honing in on what we think makes our band resonate with people — namely, the feeling that you're not alone. These are songs about looking outward and finding that, for all our differences, most of us are just trying to get by as the world is going to hell around us.

"We don’t have any grand ambitions beyond that — we just want people to feel acknowledged. There’s comfort in knowing we’re on the same sinking ship. We want the album to be a knowing nod and a way to make the world a slightly more bearable, even if it’s just for 40 minutes."

'Brave Faces Everyone' tracklist:

1. Routine Pain
2. Self – Destruction
3. Generation Loss
4. Kick
5. Beach Front Property
6. Losers
7. Optimism
8. Losers 2
9. Dolores
10. Brave Faces, Everyone

The band will accompany the release of 'Brave Faces Everyone' with a UK and European tour supporting the Menzingers starting later this month. Following their return to North America, they'll tag onto a full US tour supporting the Wonder Years.
